Carrying the flag.

Rdruid is far superior in premades than a prot paladin.

Yeah i know but while in a big group running into the enemy group i prefer to have a fc with lay on hands, aint better and fcs must stay out of those batlles, but if they are in them i feel more comfortable with a prot pala. (Also because some restodruids seem to want to outrun their healers.)

First off, if you are premading; a "big group" should never even touch you. (unless of course it's a stealther). Your team should be escorting your or controling the other team so they cant get to until you've at least made it to roof or top on tunnel.

Lay of Hands can only be used once or twice in a bg, that's not enough to automatically make paladins > rdruids @fcing.

As far as "staying out of those battles" Rdruids are best at that. They can outrun anyone on foot(other than other shamans and druids) while prot paladins won't be able to out run them at all.

And stereotyping that rdruids out run healers is out of the question. A good rdruid knows when you need your healers next to you. Hell, a good FC in general should know never to LoS/outrun your healer.

Not trying to see hostile, but a good rdruid will always out play a prot paladin unless(by luck) you fight a team that has absolutely no one who can silence. In that scenario, a Flash of Light spamming prot Paladin would definitely be better than a rdruid.

You're missing something major here. When both teams have the flag and you're in a stand off, a Rdruid relies on kiting to avoid damage, whereas a prot paladin absorbs, tanks, and avoids it. If you have to kite to tunnel roof or GY, the enemy has a chance to repick if their flag is returned. For crossing mid while your premade GY farms a pug, sure... Rdruid. But in any serious stand off, a prot paladin is king.

If pinned down, cannot move, and you're stuck in a single spot, then yes I would agree.

However, a good rdruid FC should easily be able to maneuver top of tun. Even an alliance rdruid FC should be able to on top of their tun.

Not what I was saying at all. If your team returns, and you're out kiting, then the other team has much more time to repick and react.

This is true, but sometimes those extra few seconds you buy by running and kiting will give your offense time to keep the other team from capping.

I've seen maneuverability save the day, and I've seen being the solid tank save the day. Both are good (but usually you only get one or the other D: )

in premades a tanky fc is highly preferred, you can't kite as well with the debuff so it's better to rely on armor/resist/resil/hp/healers/cc rather than running around the base. prot paladin also has loh so would definitely be the preferred fc in a premade. rdruid is a very risky pick if you're up against a serious opponent.

This one druid, Yökastelija, has proven me that resto druid are pretty capable ( yes i'm the master of puns, too ) to carry. Only if they know the jumps and use them right tho. He didn't even have any heirlooms btw.
