Can't Use Shoulder enchants on Heirlooms??

Did I miss something? Before I would buy like greater crane, make the Loom on my 120 and enchant the loom send it to my low lvl.

Now the heirloom is showing Ilvl 142 so I can't use any of the normal shoulder enchants because they're for ilvl 136 and lower.... Was something changed in the patch?

its bcus your heirlooms are upgraded try to send them to a lvl 85 character ,

there was also another way i read about some time ago but cant remember right
its was something along the lines of buying the heirloom somewhere and then its still un-upgraded

sorry if this is vague but theres a way (if you dont have the 85 toon)

@HairyTreeMan Just a heads up for you guys, another option that you can do IF you don't have a character that is in the sweet spot level to make the right IL heirloom for the enchant is to go to the Heirloom vendor in Ironforge or Undercity and buy it off the vendor. Buying the heirloom fresh is chump change, and you can do that on your main 120 (if you have one) and then apply the desired enchant to the item without worry, as when bought it will always be 0/3 upgrade level. Hope this helps, I know I'm late to the thread here.

Also OP, best username ever LMFAO.
