Can't solo dungeons

Hey guys, I'm new to twinking and this is actually my first twink. I made a lvl 29 rogue and when i watched these videos on how to twink, they mentioned you can solo dungeons, however when i go into necrotic wake/plaguefall, i have 5k 4k hp and the boss has 55k. It legitimately 3-4 shots me even after cheat death procs and i cannot kill it. Can I not solo it due to the level or is there something else interfering and I am doing it wrong? I have talked to Chromie and my time is set to Shadowlands. I'm taking any advice on the matter, I really don't know how to farm these dungs and have been queueing for a week and can't get a single pop. I am talking 4-5 hours q no pop. Cheers.

as a rogue, you probably won’t be able to solo dungeons without using any bugged items. get either infonitely divisible ooze and/or toy windmill, do not be in any timeline (aka present), and that way, you can probably solo stuff, but ooze wont work in legion and newer expansions, amd windmill has a 15 min cd.

Would I be able to solo content if I was lvl 10 or 11 for example? I understand I currently cannot due to being a rogue, but even still if I lower the level on my char, would it be possible?

Rogue is probably the worse at soloing content atm, you need sockets with lifegem to be able to solo any and even then it will be a struggle until you start getting bis gear.
My lvl 15 rogue and 20 rogue can solo most dungeons though now that they have decent gear.

Would you please elaborate on the lifegems, which gems exactly are you referring to and would they work decent on my 29 rogue?

Have you made sure u are on the shadowlands chromie time?? If I remember correctly, the SL dungeons does not scale down automatically, u need to be in SL chromie time

Probably refers to Revitalizing Jewel Doublet which gives a significant health regen boost. They're part of the shadowlands gems. They're also mentioned on the war within baseline guide f2p baseline guide. They scale with the amount of unique(?) shadowlands gems you have equipped on each item. Haven't used them myself as I'm pure f2p, and they're vet/sub only.

Do look into how the scaling works before investing time into it. I don't think you can just stack just Revitalizing Jewel Doublets by themselves.

Since you're subbed it might be easiest to have a max level friend help run you through one of the relevant dungeons. The anniversary event gives people reasons to want to run timewalking dungeons, so normal queues are going to drag especially if you don't have a non-DPS spec.

As noted above rogues are the worst class for soloing, with their only saving grace being their ability to skip most trash. You'll be in a catch-22 situation where you need top notch gear to solo well and gearing will be slow until you can solo dungeons. In the meantime you can try gathering a "good enough" set to help when you do go hard on instances, get your professions up and stock up on consumables, and ask friends to help you grab certain key items like the ooze.
