There is a secret method iirc

Lemme guess: you need ride you darkmoon toy at xp eliminator, then take your pants off irl, put them on your head, log out and log in 10 times, and then you should be able to lock your exp?

You must be underwater for at least 181 seconds with your pants off fishing first.

Or you could do it old school style,sort of, and just be very careful with your experience gains.
