Can you get more unlucky?

Rantcasey got 2boots back when it was a must. 1 with cat's and 1 with boar's and the fishing hat with the libram. caught the first boots my first day fishing then months with no luck, till i got both boots and hat in one day =D.



Jameshowlet caught hat in the 3rd week of trying.



Thrawnx has caught 6boots, 2 lines, and ive won the tourney on him twice. but in 8 months of trying no hat =(



So all in all not too bad with my fishing. =D
 
Got my first hat about 30 casts into my first tourney... about 10 tourneys later on various toons and never seen another hat.
 
Back when we could use the boots I got a pair each week for 3 weeks on the 4th week I got a hat. Just recently on my mage I got a hat last cast of the day took my about 7weeks and about 5 tourneys (one tourney I went out but didn't feel like fishing the other one I couldn't make it)



Fish finder helps a lot and being able to travel to some of the nodes faster helps too. I suggest (if you can afford it) speed pots and swim speed pots. This will decrease down time and also allow you to get the nodes you have to swim a little easier
 
On my mage I got two hats and a boot first tourney (first 10 minutes for all 3) back when boots were viable. Next tourney I got 2 more hats.



On my druid on the other hand I have fished for 1.5 years for probably 1 full years worth of fishing and got nothing.

Priest was 6 months

Other mage was 2 years or 3 and nothing.
 
Entire WoW Career - 2.1 patch - 3.3 patch, idk how long that is but I've never had a Fishing hat in my entire wow gaming life... Maybe my priest will get one finally...
 
i got my hat and boots within 20 fish of each other back when boots were wearable. took like 4 weeks or whatever to get the first rare on my account but i was definately lucky



i've heard of ppl fishing for years and not getting the hat

Haha nice one elocon, ur epic posts always leave me in awe:rolleyes:



As for the subject at hand, I got my keefer on ma rogue 2nd tourny i went to, I just camped out at the 'twink island' and finally caught it about an hour into the contest. I was super happy because I normally work sundays, and I had asked my boss for that sunday off just so I could do the contest and he let me off:cool:
