Can you character transfer to different accounts in classic yet?

For some reason you cant play retail and classic at the same time.
It logs me off the current one im logged into.

I need to transfer my classic character to a different account so I can play both.
Has anyone run into this issue?

Never tried, retail is dead to me until shadowlands.

edit- but logically... no one should be playing both at once without account sharing. So makes sense for them.

edit2- and no, I don't believe account transfers are a thing yet.

I'm pretty sure you can merge multiple accounts on the same bnet into one as a blizzard service, but I don't think you can do any of the normal account services (name change, transfer, etc...) yet.

They said they won't offer services that weren't originally available in vanilla.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you could transfer characters to other accounts in vanilla. Only realm transfers and name changes - both of which had some pretty severe limitations along with them.
