Can someone give me some info on status of 85s in PvE?

Trying to figure out if I'm doing something terribly wrong on my mage or not and how other characters stack up.

Right now as far as DPS goes in PvE out of the characters I have it goes:

Windwalker Monk > Unholy 2H >= Frost 2H > Frost DW > Rogue (all seem pretty even tbh) > Fury Warrior (bad gear) > Frost Mage > Enhancement Shaman > Elemental Shaman

I know Frost is great for PVP, but it seems like all mage specs are crap in PvE by comparison. I'm bursting for over 130k on my Monk and sustaining over 80k usually. That's without Bloodlust. Frost Mage has hit 100k with Time Warp and stars aligned. Struggle to sustain even 50k...and Arcane and Fire are worse.
 
Rogue is definitely the top, I really haven't found anything that could beat an assassination rogue in PvE at 85 with high end gear. Before the enchant scaling where you could have 2 dancing steels giving you 1650 agi at 85 and the mop gems/enchants I would burst up to somewhere between 300-330K on this rogue Talenth @ Boulderfist - Community - World of Warcraft and sustain 110-120K on a single target fight like ultraxion when there were a bunch of geared 90's in the group making it a 2min kill.

OS gaming used to do 25m all 85 Heroic DS runs and I use to go to that when it was nearly full. I always sat at the top sustaining 90K with nobody else even close to me. The fights were 4-5 mins long though.

I can't tell you how it is now since I haven't really done anything like that since but I'm pretty certain that assassination rogues are still on the top.
 
if we're talking about with mop gear.. i was doing ultraxion on my 85 boomy for mount run... not even fully BIS missing legs/boots but i was doing 210 Burst, and 150 sustained (without tricks/crit buff) but this is with pots/flask
 
used to be top 5 most fights as boomer/cat. #1 for certain fights n depending on cds/pots/etc
rogues generally dominated though. been a couple months since ive played though
 
Yeah, I'm not surprised if Boomkin are up there. They seem really strong. I remember rogues being really good, but it feels like my damage has been halved somehow on the rogue. I used to get 250k+ Envenoms, now everything is under 200k.

Windwalker Monks are just completely insane. 350k+ Rising Sun Kicks WTF, 150k burst without MoP enchants?! I wish I made one prior to the nerfs.
