Can level 20 trial accounts get mount equipment?

Title really says all. If you open up your mount page, down in the bottom right there is a equipment slot that says "Enhance your mount with Mount Equipment"
Is there any mount equipment a level 20 free to play account can aqquire?

yes you can, its quite a grind into bfa enchanting, i just made mine hoofplates yesturday, still in the bliss that i feel the additional mount speed, my gronn mount doesnt feel like it moves in slowmotion anymore

Dang that is a big “what are the odds” moment for me. I recently finished WoD questing and was going around uncovering the map so I can truly be “finished” with a zone and came across the Gronn mount by pure chance. Didn’t even know it existed and thought I’d fight it as a challenge. I was super stoked to get such a cool mount I been using for the last week. Even more recently I dropped skinning to pick up tailoring to make BfA bracers to disenchant for epic gems so I can train BfA enchanting for the weapon enchants.
