EU+US Can F2P's that naver had time get Btag friends?

I recently made an EU f2p account. And I made friends but I was wondering if there was a way to add Btag friends. I tried like I normally would through the friends list in game and there was no way. Can someone help me out. Thanks

You can add / chat with friends via app. you can not use it ingame as 100% f2p.
