Buying game time on WoW

So, hypothetically speaking and such, if I were to buy gametime on wow to ease things. Are there Do's and Don't I should be aware of?
Anything I need to get done during that timeframe as a twink and stuff?
Anything I have to avoid so I dont screw my twink? etc.
Of course I'm not 100% sure about it, because of obvious reasons. However, the consideration is there.

If you have Banked XP on your twinks, don't ever log in on them while subbed.
With the Warbank now, if you have 2 connected accounts you can send anything & everything to your twink alts from a subbed account.
While subbed, I'd just work on making G's to pick up treats for you Twink roster, or work on professions to make everything DIY style.

if your account is F2P, i would add another F2P to your Bnet account, level some players to 20 before subbing and making that account active.

some things that come to mind:
-Unlock allied races
-Get Enchant Weapon - Lifestealing / Unlock old Scholomance
-Get Revitalizing Jewel Doublet (Gems, Recipe)
-Unlock costumizations for Blood Elfs, Nightelfs, Draenei
-Unlock Adventure Mode for Dragon isles
-Buy anything >1000g
-BRD anniversary thingy
-get and learn mounts from anniversary bosses (Doomwalker etc.)

fyi I found the lifestealing enchant recipe on the ah, so if its on your ah as well, you can skip the scholo thing if you prefer.

Yeah I do have banked XP, so basically I should not come near my main twinks during gametime so I dont fuck with their level. Also I dont have any other accounts but just 1 so the Warbank is out of the question. And no I aint doing anything DIY profession related. The Ghost Dragon trinket has taken enough of my drive to do anything profession related. Might even just skip jewelcrafting and buy the Tiered medallion on the AH.
But if that's the case, how am I supposed to collect anni bronze/resources on my main twink? Or do I transport all of it to the other one that will have gametime?

Yeah its pure f2p. So like make an entirely new acc? or just new characters in that case?

I've always wanted to play with Mag'har Orcs. How do I unlock em? Didn't they need an annoying rep grind though?

Edit: I am considering the 3 month gametime too, is that enough to get majority of stuff done? Also what are the key difference between Vets and F2Ps once my gametime runs out? And when it runs out, am I safe to access my twink or will the banked exp still accumilate?

They got rid of most requirements to unlock allied races. You don't need rep but you might have to do the BfA intro.
To unlock you need a lvl 40 character and complete a short questline at the embassy in org.
A second account makes it easier to separate twinks and subbed characters.
If you use a second account you won't have to worry about banked exp and can play them normally while doing everything else on the subbed second account. It should be easy to set up and everything is shared between the two (heirlooms, achievements, warbank etc.)
It also makes it easy to group with yourself, if you can have to wow clients active on your device.

If you bought a month and then didn't touch your account for the remainder of the time, the only differences I can think of are that your future toons wouldn't bank XP, you'd be able to use free weekends, and you'd be able to buy tokens in theory. (In practice there's no way to have the cash on hand given the limited number of characters on the account, but the idea is there in theory.) That's the raw difference between vets and pure F2Ps.

The big difference in practice are all the things a vet can unlock across their account. There are some mogs/mounts/toys that you're locked out of due to either level or money limits, but the only major thing I can think of off the top of my head is a vendor mount. The mammoth is a not unreasonable sum to have warbanked, and the ability to have vendors practically on demand is something you won't know how you did without.

Other big things to look at are completing the BfA and Legion main storylines to unlock mechagon access and each areas invasion WQs, as well as the main DF questlines for adventure mode. Unlocking allied races is also nice, and as noted it was made pretty easy a while ago requiring nothing more that a level 40+ character. Unlocking extra race based cosmetics might also make your list, although that's a cosmetic instead of something that unlocks more gameplay going forward.

Can't I just use XPoff buff on the twinks I don't want to lvl past 20? Wouldn't that be easier? I don't really do pvp anymore as i used to so there's that. Plus I barely manage to keep 1 WoW client on, I don't want to imagine 2

I'm out of the loop a bit, what's special about mechagon? And what does adventure mode do exactly?

Half the reason why I'm getting gametime time was to get a lot of stuff I wish I got but could not, be it mounts, transmogs, Mag'har Orcs etc. And the lack of ability to que up with certain friends of mine to run dungeons. It's time to put an end to this decade long isolation. By paying 2,241 pounds, is it financially questionable? Yes. It is what it is. And I'd love to contribute to your community.

Yayyy heheheh I’m so excited you’re one of the coolest people I met off of here I’m glad you’re coming to the dark side even if temporary:3

Do I have to make an entire new account or can the XP Off buff work on the desired twink in order to stop the banking exp from accumulating?
Cuz I have like 3 other characters I dont need and they have also accumulated exp which will make them 31 lvl, makes things easier and faster from the get go.

Yes cap all of your toons before subbing. Go and turn them off, I’m 90% sure that will make you not level.

Adventure mode is a thing that lets most of the DF content scale down to 20, so you can do more stuff and access more gear. Mechagon isn't too high priority, being mostly an easy way for horde toons to easily access the alliance islands for BFA and to grind for a few mounts. The world quests in Legion and BFA are ways to gather some more rep and resources on your toons.

I haven't tested whether or not an XP locked character with banked XP will level if you pay for time, but it shouldn't be too hard to run a fresh toon through some content until they have at least one level's worth of banked XP on them. Lock XP, and log them first after your payment goes through. If the sacrificial character survives, you're good. If not, you learned and know not to log any of your important toons until your time runs out.
