Of course, you'll ned the help of an 85 but it is doable, Hotskuyerl of bleeding hollow has it and he is also a trial.

It's actually pretty useless considering you'll be one shot from anything in Vashj'ir from a long way away. You're much better off getting summoned, dying, and then rolling as a corpse.

I recall when I was summoned there Dragon summoned me next to some kind of air vent just near the ship. Probably within hunter's mark range of burgy

First off I've swam all over vash without getting 1 shot so no you don't need a summon.

Secondly shift is right the rest of burgy's crew is huddled around air vents near the ship which enable water breathing and IIRC the only mob there that has a red name is the sea serpent which the vent is well out of range of.

Just have a 85 summon a lvl 1 alt to the spawn and check it periodically. If you see him spawned, have the 85 summon your 20 and kill him for you

IMO all you need to get this hat is a RL wow friend or friends who have paying accounts in game. NPC scan will alert you to him if you are at the surface above the ship. I recommend using npc scan and chilling at the surface and then watch movies/Q for bgs he appears to be on a 12 hour spawn timer. The swim from the closest FP in vashj is not too bad, so I recommend getting it. And I believe with some patience and consumables you can swim to vashj'ir.
