What exactly is the problem, Speckled Tastyfish pools moving around?

I didn't have any problems, except for not getting an angelfish on the hook of course. Got a pirate ring, though. 
Didn't even have my hearth stone set to booty bay, so was quite surprised to recieve 2nd place, but I guess it's easier when you only compete with you own realm not the linked ones.
