Breaking into the 39s Bracket

A couple friends and myself are starting the process of leveling new 39s. We created them on Bleeding Hollow [US]. This isn't our home server where our mains are and while I have made gold selling pets - It doesn't appear enough to buy any twink items/enchants from the Bleeding Hollow AH where the prices are nuts. For example, Underworld Bands are around 8000g on BH, I picked one up for under 500g on my home server.

I'm debating just having us level on our home server.

1) What are the benefits of playing on BH?
2) What is the disadvantage of just starting our own little guild not on BH?

Any advice/opinions will be greatly appreciated!

Unlike 19s, 39s do not have a hub server where most of the population is. While there is a Horde guild forming on BH, to my knowledge there are not a ton of other players there.

In my opinion, it's best to create your twinks wherever you have the means to fully gear them. If you have a lot of gold on a specific server and you can easily gear them, that's much less stressful. Trying to gear your twinks on limited funds can be annoying. You can also always transfer somewhere else if you'd like to play on a different server down the road.

Also bear in mind that if the server you have funds on is pretty dead, it can be a struggle to get some of the gear or enchants you might need. Just choose what you feel is the easiest way for you to complete your 39s.

My 39 is on my home server where my main is.
Pros- plenty of gold and supplies, no problems getting enchants as my main can supply those, most gear is rather inexpensive.
Cons- no real twink guilds( That is what realID is for), you are a bit isolated
Yes it does suck being isolated from the populace. If you plan on playing a lot. Hours on end each night you should move to a twink server. If not, your home server will probably serve you fine.

my 39 is on a random server i xferred it too in cata to sell items to some people. the only plus ive found is enchants are dirt cheap here!

#1 Allot of 19 players will be playing 39's on BH, H so if you want to be around 39's then that's a good place to be, but AH items are expensive as.

#2 Just depends how well you can organize/lead it.
