As for the OP's question, yes, but only by a incredibly small number, maybe 2-3 games at best. When I first got to duel Brumble, I won the first couple of matches, then promptly got destroyed the next X matches after. Brumble is probably the best rogue in terms of being able to adapt. He figured out my playstyle, and just crushed me for not trying different things, which I quickly learned thanks to him.
Jenif, she just does great damage, which is strange considering she's usually the worst geared. Playing fancy vs her is not good, because she'll just smash you in the face. She is also AMAZING at recovering from games that look like she's going to lose.
Ent, I don't know what it is about Ent, but his win/loss vs me is something like 70/30. He just destroys me in most duels. Probably just the better player, but I can't help but think he has some voodoo doll of me, because I've never had so many unlucky things happen than when I'm fighting him. TBH though, he's the most consistent rogue in terms of winning. He knows what's needed to win, and he just does it, no screwing around.
Ihate, Drizo, Balroys' brother's rogue whose name i never remember, all fantastic players in their own right, but probably just short of the 'best' though that is incredibly subjective and doesn't really mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Dayman, as a dueler, he's decent, as a team player, especially in wsg, no one compares. That guy was born to return flags.
As for me, /shrug. I'm probably the most technical of the rogues, and I'd argue my reaction times are probably the best, factoring in the latency differences, but my weakness is a tendency to be flashy/stylish over actually getting the job done. Just look at the RvR's, Jen can biatch slap me to 0 hp in 4-5 seconds, while it takes me restealths and 20-30 seconds to do the same. Granted those are old, but I still suffer occasionally from that issue, but it's probably because I'm the 'video' guy, and I'm about 'interesting duels' over winning. In most duels, what you see in a video is nothing like how you should RvR. I'd say that short clip vs Ent is the closest to how you should do it.
Overall, I think we're all so close it'd be silly to claim anyone's the best. I still consider Brumble the grandfather of Rogues/39s because of the publicity he brings to 39s and what he does for the community. That warrants him #1 in my book.
