making a resto druid with dps off spec and cant decide, feral or boomkin:/

Boomkin has amazing output, the problem is they are easy to lock down; if they are moving their output drops to very little. However, I'd say qt owls can have more survivability since they have really nice HoTs - bear in mind they are extremely squishy though! Feral is generally accepted as the superior specc simply for the (I believe) slightly higher damage, though they can be squishy if you catch them in cat form.

which class is harder to play: Boomkin
which class does more damage: Depends on the situation, Boomkin can pump out some massive damage, and feral can do some crazy burst damage.
which class has more survivability: Feral usually has more survivability, but both have roughly the same imho
which class is overall better for pvp: Boomkin is better suited as a support role and shines when working in groups. Feral is a 1v1 god against most classes, and does very well as an fc in rbg's, random bgs.
any added info u wana input: I personally prefer to play a boomkin, just because I prefer to play casters in pvp. Feral can be allot of fun too, but I find it plays allot like a rogue in most cases and I already have a rogue.

which 'SPEC' is harder to play: It depends, boomkin has sufficient heals and mobility on their own.. ferals rely a lot on their healers when vs classes that can snare as they only have trinket + sprint to get out of them.

which class does more damage: Overall in Bgs etc - boomkins, but have less 'BURST' damage. Ferals are known to crit 12k+s, the most i'm managing on my boomkin vs rogues etc with low resil is maybe 5-6k max

which class has more survivability: Hard to say, but considering feral is soo easy to kite and peel, i'd say that boomkin has better surviv imo. Feral is only the favoured class due to the high pressures they can deal.

which class is overall better for pvp: Feral is shit boring imo, played all 3 specs and i much pref boomkin for Bgs and sometimes arena. Feral is obviously better in arena situations due to the higher damage burst which is crusial for going for kills a lot of the time - boomkin has nice constant damage but it's quite easily outhealed.
