Yep, tokens being 30 days appears to be unchanged. This will be the only option to purchase a month going forward I guess.

this reads like it affects only one-off purchases. Subs would still be month to month, so you sub then cancel your sub in order to not have to wait out the 60 day purchase.

What I do is keep my new 20s on my subbed account until they're complete with gear and a stocked bank, then I farm out some gold (an easy method is farming ilvl 28 boe's with sockets and sell on AH) and buy tokens with gold and exchange for blizzard currency to buy a character transfer to my unsubbed account on the same bnet. In some cases you only have to farm for an hour or 2 to be able to afford 1 token from selling socketed rings/necks/cloaks and other decent gear that you end up getting
