Black Metal 2.0

Eriwen

Legend
Hey there, and sorry to bother you guys again! I'm just informing those who are/were interested in my music, we have changed name from Lord of Goats to Midnat (which means Midnight in Danish) The reason for this is that when we first started this musical project we didn't think it would become serious and thus we wanted to find the most stereotypical black metal name we could find. Now 5 months has passed and we have created an album with songs filled with potential but very poor recording and/or mixing.

The future of this band will be more serious and therefore there might go a long time between each release as we want to get the best quality out of each song.

Therefore I'd like to inform you guys that we have created a new soundcloud page for the new band name:

If I were aiming for some shot fires, I' be like black metal is just another Emo shit sub genre of the precious melodic, heavy metal. In reality it takes no skill because of the distortion it makes to cover up the badness of untalented instrument players and some suicidal nerd screaming into a miC with no precious and talented vocals

Amazing songs, I'm not a music critic or anything so not gonna go in depth with examining the songs :D You know I've listened 'em all and like them! 5/5

That would just be a load of assumptions though, because the lead guitarist is very talented and the screaming is actually not really any hard to do if you know the right technique without damaging your voice. Also you can hear the melodic aspects and not just a bunch of power chords played over 240 BPM.

I can hear the detail now that I use headphones ;P

As someone who has played guitar, bass, drums and has done vocals for over a decade, I can tell you that Black Metal is not only one of the most fun, but also a genre that is not absent of talent. The "nerd" argument really doesn't hold up on a site about World of Warcraft either lol. (assuming the turtle is a serious turtle in his/her post) I'm in to the more traditional metal like Sabbath myself, but on a site were every video posted seems to have techno/dub-step/trap-music playing in the background, I'm happy to say I think I've made a good discovery today. I've got friends in the Bay-Area, Nevada, Oregan, Salt Lake City and Texas....they will all hear about Midnat as they love the underground black metal stuff. Hails from New Mexico Eriwen!

Here's a very late respond in addtion;

I had a WSG montage video project but my PC got wiped so I was left with a small part of the video, where I actually use Black Sabbath in my intro. Saw them live in Copenhagen 2013 and I must say Ozzy still got it!
