first off i would like to say im "BiS"

but i really dont give a shit, i like to always switch up my gear, one BG i used [item]inferno robe[/item] w/ 15 resilience, did some ppl say "wtf r u doing?" yes, did i give a shit no

i think being "BiS" is sooooo fucking boring i dont want to use the same boring gear over and over

just because someone isn't BiS does not make them lazy, or mean they don't deserve respect. It just means twinking is not important enough to them to justify the time spent on getting BiS. You guys might say "omg AGM only takes 2 minutes a day for 12 days!" But who really wants to get up at 3 in the morning? I don't.

You don't have to. I got mine in 3 days, only going there at 3PM, 6PM, 9PM and occasionally 12AM.

Most BiS sets are either glass cannon or stam stacking sets. Often players will get flamed for not copying someone popular's gear verbatim, but the fact of the matter is, a lot of us do have the gear and prefer to balance between stam/ap(or spellpower.)



Getting flamed for not having BiS gear is laughable, especially because armory does not show the bigger picture.

With class imbalance BiS becomes an issue when an already clearly OP class is going for BiS. When imbalance is present a UP class has justification for getting that level of gear. On an OP class it's not needed, and isn't much different from playing a twink in levelling BGs, because you're doing it to get an advantage over the majority, and not just to remove any disadvantage you might have.



When the classes are balanced then yes, going for BiS is fine, because it means everyone is equal, the games are fair, and everyone gets to play whatever class they want, without being farmed like a bunch of levellers.



The success and future of twink BGs relies on them being fun to play, both attracting new players and keeping existing ones. If it's not fun it soon becomes very boring, when you have to play as one of a few specific classes in order to be able to play at all.
