BIS Rogue/Enhance Sham Weapon 3.6 Speed Alliance/Horde

http://www.wowhead.com/item=156998 . Very simple 3 part quest in southern barrens. Can confirm it does have 3.6 speed on it and tested it on my 39 rogue in outlaw. It adds 200 damage to saber slash and 400 damage to ambush in bgs and arenas. It is obtainable by both factions and I assume, cuz of the speed, that its best for lvl 29-60 instanced pvp.

You don't share everything. Imagine if people had been more discrete with Legion blade, holidays weapons etc. There are still things that aren't as easy to look up as this was. This was literally just wowhead itemfinder, set a max level (i.e. 29), click on sort by attack speed and bam, it was there. Easiest research of your life. Quite a few people knew about this weapon and used it discretely.

Think of it as a magician revealing all of his secrets. Some are cool to share to spark interest, others are best kept for safekeeping.

Letting secrets out generally gets them patched, we don't have much in legion so most cling onto them or keep them within trusted friends.

But this is very interesting to see almost like some set bonuses still working. I wonder what keeps these things out of the scope of blizzards pruning

Mismatch in data comparisons, whether it's arrays or similar. Some are probably structured differently as opposed to newer versions, or sorted by expansions etc. etc. Because I seriously doubt that they do every change individually for each piece of item/set etc. So a mismatch would allow certain things to slip through their automated changes. That's my guess at least. That's how I would make changes to a game with a large database of items, quests etc.

Srry guys, just had to share this with ppl xD. Especially since it is for both factions. I understand that some secrets are better kept quiet, but the way I see it is that BFA is literally a few months away. So may as well have fun with this now. Also, I agree with the whole common legion blade thing where something like that with a 5 sec speed on it that had actual videos made about it eventually got patched making it more important and impactful than this and ppl talked about it too much; the exact opposite is what I am counting on for this item, that it doesn't get that much attention and it stays useable and obtainable kinda like black magic and the extra stats from wands still being around. At least until BFA cuz looks like a lot of personal character customization with stats will return.

WTB info on "other shit" that works. Someone mentioned that theres another enchant that works other than black magic, but dunno if they were talking out their ass or not.

Problem is if its too OP, people will find out about it. If its gonna fly under the radar, then blizz doesn't care. 19s being able to run around with ilvl 100 or 500+ ilvl pieces is gonna get patched. A random weapon that didn't get its speed changed isn't worth their time and should just be shared.

Bfa wont patch most things, these secrets go un noticed until everyone starts using them. May as well not tell people and keep them for bfa.

He posted the one that is horde only. I posted the one that is for both alliance and horde. They both have 3.6 speed, only difference is the ilvl of both.
