BiS resto shaman (without heirlooms)

hi there,

i was wondering about the 29 resto shaman BiS gear because i want to play my old shaman again

i've only found resto shamans with heirloom stuff, but i cant get them and thats why i need some ideas. can anyone help me?

especially im not sure about the 1h weapon, neck, shoulder, cloak and the chest.

This should help. If you have an old shaman you're looking to update, chances are you have some BiS gear already.

you lose about 50 SP. The mace is the only item with this huge effect. This is not to high in my opinion, your able to play you shaman without it in a very good way. Just get the dagger from Doan and you´re fine. you will win loads of Stam with this, so the difference is not to high at the end.

But ofc if you want to get BIS you need the mace

i usually play on german realms, but i have some friends here from good old bc that i played 29's with all day long

i have 2 85's but on german realms, and i dont want to pay just to get my heirlooms here.

anyway, thx a lot bwappo for the list, i really have some gear u cant get anymore (basalt buckler, zealots robe, gallan cuffs) =)

Read again pls. I said that you dont need them to be competitive. Ofc you lose 50 SP and it would be easier to have it, but you win stam from the dagger, so the difference is not gamebraking for you.

He asked for non Boa and someone told him to lvl his main because of the boa´s. And i just wanted to tell him that the difference is not to high and he dont need to have them really .....

While spell power definitely helps, it doesn't impact the lower brackets as much as we would think. The spell power coefficient for Healing Surge is 60%, so 50 spellpower means an extra 30 healing per cast. A typical resto shaman now lands healing surges between 500 and 600 without any Focused Insight procs, so we're talking at most a 5% healing throughput difference with 50 spell power.



Every little bit helps, of course, but you'll get 5% healing throughput variations just on different trinket choices.

If ur not going to pay for a character transfer for ur boa gear, then level another 78+. Get those Boa gear.
