BiS hunter melee weapons?

ok i really dont want to use the 2handed boas axe str doesnt help ranged dps and there has to be something better than that? or and alterniative plz reply with suggestions as to why the 2handed axe is prefered if it still is since int was taken from hunters and also was dawnblade grandfathered?

ya dawnblade was grandfathered. I think there's a 7 stam 7 agi polearm that's probably better than boa axe for hunters.

Impaling Harpoon from Deadmines. I'm not sure how to link them!

Rockslicer (7 agi 7 crit rating) or Impaling Harpoon (7 agi 7 stam.) If you're not hit capped, you'll probably need the Grand Staff of Jordan (wintergrasp boa staff) for the hit.

my horde hunter has Impaling Harpoon - Item - World of Warcraft



my alliance hunter has same and House Wrynn Halberd - Item - World of Warcraft



before those both hunters were using a green 5/5 monkey axe



as for dawnblade, is is still in game, quests in ghostlands did not change. there is also a http://thottbot.com/item=22982 from that quest which my horde hunter has along with http://thottbot.com/item=56708

Impaling Harpoon is moved to the 2nd boss in Deadmines (drops gold flecked gloves/rock sliver and the harpoon)

Or you can get Rockslicer from deadmines 7 agility/7 crit.
