BiS Boomkin Set

No becuase thats only what i go after.
If you count BIS when you outdoor PvE quest yes mastery is not best.
But when you RAIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, mastery is best for boomkins by far .

I'm talking about fights that last longer than 30sec. I.E. things you don't savagely outgear. describing a 1tank 8 dps burn fight boss literally describes only that type of fight. Please, post some numbers or just stop posting at all. Hurts my mind dealing with opinion-based assumptions.

I have been testing balance the past two days and i find myself better off with crit and mastery rather than anything else.

you go max mastery then rest crit and then haste.
I Wonder why all 80 druids all 85 boomkins that have decent gear / are good in PvE i played with and ALLLLLL in Legacy that play boomkin me Lee Xipe Chris.
GO for mastery then crit then haste, AND we have tested on dummy we tested in ICC we tested in Dragonsoul and when i was mastery crit / haste i ownd LEE in dps so hard becuase he was wrong reforged and then he changed to mastery crit haste on Ultrax pretty long fight and we did like same DPS with exactly same gear.

how much dps on ultra

No.

I said Crit and Mastery, wile balancing the two. Going all out Mastery seems something rather stupid to do.

And i'm talkin about pvp here, not pve.

This reminds me of the time where you said that you spent 5k gold doing different reforges for fire on your mage... It means absolutely nothing. BiS considers fights of appropriate length, not gimmicky stuff which ends in basically less time than your cooldowns have duration.

So you decide what is BIS from your time perspective? :D

AWSOME.

So what is BIS fights in time.

To stop you ladies from arguing anymore with no proof on either side of the argument I decided to give you all some...

According to sims no matter what fight you're on Crit > Mastery > Haste is the way to go. If any of you actually give a shit about "BiS" you really should stop asking people on this site for help. Go help yourselves and download some sims and make your own profiles. Even using existing characters.

Quick edit actually, if you look at the graph on each fight the highest burst damage obtained was from Mastery>Crit>Haste so although you can't do a fight shorter than 100 seconds in Simcraft I reckon if your fight lasts around 30 seconds or so, yes Mastery>Crit>Haste would win out.

Notes about the sims, I couldn't be fucked changing the default simcraft code, so the fights are done with Cataclysm consumables. If you have a problem, go do it your damn self instead of arguing back and forth.

Thx man i know we talked in mumble and agree on the same and crit / mastery is best and dosent matter so much if you go mastery of crit and the same, but HASTE SUCKS.,

yo necro time. does all of this still hold true for live?

wondering cuz ive been using this (Kaged @ Kargath - Community - World of Warcraft) set up and looking for improvement. what i like is that with just MotW & crystal of insanity up im hit capped while having 31% haste (51% with just NG - meaning a bunch of extra ticks, and ability to go from eclipse to eclipse without dropping MF/SuF), 30% crit and 48% mastery.
was just wondering if it is a dps increase to drop down from 50% haste plateau in order to get more of either crit or haste. seems counterintuitive so wondering if any spreadsheet guys know the answer. and if so would i go haste -> mastery, or crit..what exactly are the next "plateaus" for crit and/or mastery

ps i have signet of binding wall & very manly leggings, but i cant figure out if they're upgrades too since they both have lots of hit on them and very minor other stat gains. manly legs for example actually have less int then tier and i would lose 254 mastery for 88 (unreforged) haste, while also going over hit cap with crystal - even after reforge.
also been trying to toy around with trinkets such as necromantic focus instead of WoU. in some dummy tests focus has been better, but its all pretty close and havent properly raid tested

tl;dr: on live is it still crit>mastery>haste "blindly", or if you can hit a plateau such as 50% for haste do you do that then go crit>mastery. or to simplify further: what are ideal numbers for each stat.
