Bind high level BoE gear to receive the transmog

I am currently looking for enchants that bind BoE items to learn the transmog, the higher ilvl they work for the better, if you know some enchant for the slots that I've missed, or things that work on higher ilvl gear than I've listed please let me know.

All of the items below binds the gear that they are being used on, if you don't automatically learn the transmog when binding it, put it in your void storage and you will learn the appearance.

These items are just some of many items that bind for each slot, but I've decided to post the ones that are easiest to obtain as a F2P.

No, they only work to ilvl 50 or something

This list is mainly to learn mogs which might have lower ilvl but too high lvl req to learn

Another hack I found out to learn the transmog of BoE items without equipping them (might be necessary if they require a higher lvl than 20 to equip): Add a soulbound gem to available sockets. This makes the item soulbound as well und you will learn the transmog instantly. Only works with items which have a socket, though!

Just confirmed this, has to be a binds when picked up gem, can't be any random crafted gem which limits it a bit, but amazing find!

I will try to see what gem is the easiest one we can get that covers the most ilvls.

Just wanted to add that if you're trying to learn BoE GREY items (trash gear), you can learn the appearance by just vendoring them, no need to waste mats enchanting. Tested with https://www.wowhead.com/item=43659/bloodied-prison-shank https://www.wowhead.com/item=154804/chipped-blade-scimitar

(This unfortunately did not work when I tested it with green quality BoE gear rip)

Is it possible that some of these methods don´t work anymore? Just tried Rough Sharpening Stone, Rough Weightstone and Light Armor Kit (for feet) and none of them worked. Can anyone confirm?

If so: Are there other options to bind high level BoE weapons and feet?

Yes, it's very likely things changed with 10.2.6 when they changed the enchants.
I will look into this soon

You are right, I didn´t even need to put it into the void storage, just log out and login again and the appearance was added into my collection

Light Armor Kit was just a try by myself, for e.g. Core Armor Kit should make the item soulbound (as do the sharpening stones). Unfortunately you need to be level 21 to use it. So haven´t found out anaother way to bind boe items without equipping it for feet slot

Yes, worked before on the ilvl 50 green armor, now with the enchant ilvl change it will also work on the ilvl 60 weapons.
I updated the main post with new ilvls, still need to test leg enchant and gems.
