BG question

So I have a 60 hunter that i'm thinking about taking to 69 to twink.



So from what i'm reading i'm a little confused. If I que up as a 60 who will I join with? All 60's?



And if I level up to 69 then who do I que up with?? 60-69?



Sorry, kinda confusing. And I do have WoTLK installed. Don't know if that matters.

The brackets for the various battlegrounds have not changed. A level 60 still does AV with 51-60, and the AB & WSG with 60-69.



What has changed is that 'Vanilla' 60s or BC capped 70s are not getting grouped with players that are getting XP. That means that you only do battle with twinks (or fools who have their xp off to get pwned).



So far it is very rare to get a BG to even pop at 60, unless you coordinate in the forums. It should get better when all of the battlegroups are merged.



At 69 you will be in 60-69 WSG and AB

61-70 AV

61-69 EOS

69 looks like it will be a good bracket when the merge comes.



WOTLK will be an advantage to a 69 because you can get the quest gear. Check other threads for details.

Is it going to be quest/world gear? Or is there PvP specific gear at 69?

You get alot of your gear from engineering. Well trinkets and helms anyway. Some 69s choose to use some heirloom gear aswell. Most of the gear however is fairly easily obtained from quest rewards and dungeons etc. The only pvp specific gear atm is some of the engineering trinkets i think. There was a crafted set for 79s with resil on it but 79s are pretty much non-existant atm.
