EU+US BG Blue Weapons vs Epics

Pale Skinner - 4.6 DPS, 4 agi, 6 stam
Recruit's Cleaver of the Adaptable - 4.4 DPS, 4 agi, 6 stam, 6 vers

Im not sure if someone has these 2 weapons in question, but I am really curious to see which would offer higher dmg in terms of tooltip on a sinister strike of an Outlaw rogue. I am wondering if the extra 0.2 dps of the skinner and similar epics make them worth farming for, or if that is outweighed by the superior stats, particularly secondaries such as vers on the BG blues. Right now I am unsure if I should be farming these epics, or just waiting for BG blue weps. Any input is appreciated, especially if someone with both weapons/similar weapons can compare the tooltip numbers for me.

AFAIK the dps shown on wep is just an average between low and top end divided by the wep speed, so the vers isn't counted for that. The wep rolls, gets a value in the range which is used in your ability calculation and then vers is applied on that. So even though it's not show, I think 6 vers will net more damage. Plus epic pale skinner is very very rare.
 
I farm things aggressively with multi-realm hopping and having farmed two epic Pale Skinners I'll say it's a farm I'd rather not do again. Unless you've got an active subscription and are willing to go to some length, it's definitely more fun to BG. Sinister strike hits like a wet noodle either weapon you use.

I'd use a blue adaptable if I had one..
 
If it isn't Foreman's or Boarhide Leggings it's overrated.

I wouldn't hold out for an Adaptable Blue Crate Weapon personally - Haven't ever had one proc on any twink of mine. iirc the only Blue Adaptable piece I've ever got was a set of legs on a 39 Disc. I'd definitely target all the quests that could proc an Epic in the short medium term until a Crate Wep drops that's better

Thanks for the look gixxer. Right now I have 2 epics, but they are both boe daggers (jeweled dagger & talon of vultros.) I need to trade one into a main hand weapon.

With a perfect quickblade / aurora roll you would only be missing out on like <5 vers, we're nitpicking so hard that you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference.

FWIW you don't need an adaptable piece to be better than an epic.

I have a ton of BG blue weapons on my warrior, and even unfavorable vers tilts out preform some of my epic weapons. In fact, only my Portal Closers Hammer comes out on top and only then by 1 or 2 tooltip damage.
