Best weapons for Rogue Sub PvP.

Has anyone actually sat down and tested this at all?

I prefer a fast off-hand, even though a lot of people here seem to think a slow fist weapon like mounting vengence is better because if the agi slots. Now I am not assuming it is, hell....I don't know shit about melee classes in WoW. I've played ranged (mage/warlock/priest) for 99.99% of my time in WoW.


Crux + Brutal Gladiators Shiv

Crux + Crux

Crux + OH Warglaive

Crux + Blade of the Unrequited

MH warglaive + OF Warglaive (hemo spam no backstabs...but what about taking the haste proc and overall dmg into acc?)

Crux + Mounting Vengeance ( I tried this and it felt horrible...but veteran twinks here recommended it to me...trolling? I don't know...it just felt bad)

What really is the best option for a 70 twink. Regardless of what you have WITHOUT just armorying the "most well known" twinks, what would you place these setups in order of best to least best? Because if going with Hemo spam with glaives is just as good as taking Crux + Unrequited, then why the fuck would you want to ever even use the daggers? If the Hemo spam actually is just as good....you get to use cool looking weapons AND you don't have to think about backstabbing.

But then again, they might not be...which is why I am asking this question. I am a bit confused on this because I was reading through a few threads and saw people talking about this, regarding hemo spam with glaives vs daggers & backstabbing...but it was all 1 off posts.

This HAS been asked MANY times before. Here is the best advice:

Put YOUR specific character into Chardev with your gearset. Add the weapons one by one to see the difference in stats/speed/top end damage etc..

Be sure to add the different procs in to see the difference they make for each weapon setup. If you are mathematically inclined you can always find out the formulas from somewhere like WoWHead, and workout average damage for things like Hemo for each setup.

Most important thing is to go with what you feel like using and what you think will work best for your playstyle/gear. If you are one of the more hardcore twinks your aim will be to collect each of the above so you can experiment with each setup to find the most effective one for you.

It is not ALWAYS just about the very best stats on a website/spreadsheet, game mechanics are very dynamic and not everything is based off static numbers.
