I made this thread for THE fastest way to get pops. Obviously no one is going to follow it. No one has to either. It's fine. It's just in theory and it's there for the record. If you like YOUR way of queuing, it's all up to you. Queue skirmishes or random if you prefer it that way.If I may, I think there is going to be a perpetual misperception of something being "wrong", and a general dissatisfaction as a result, for as long as people continue to hold "the way things were before" as the standard by which the way things now are measured. The simple and unavoidable fact is that prior to WoD, the 20-29 bracket had two choices. Now, the 20-29 bracket has five: four battlegrounds and skirmishes. With 5/2 as many options as before, we must expect that queues will be at least 5/2 as long--or longer still depending on the factorial nature of increasing options.
So any lament that things aren't the way they were, and any effort to return things to the way they were, is ignoring the fact that the landscape has changed. And many if not most people like a combination of activities that is different from the combination you or you or I happen to like. so asking anyone to not queue for the things they like a) isn't fair, and b) won't actually help.
I hope and wish that going forward from here, everyone simply learns to accept that the cost of having more options is having to wait a little longer for other folks who also like that option. We don't live in the past, in general as human beings, and you can never make something "the way it used to be". Please just be happy with the options we have, and learn to accept that queue times have changed, for good. It's not the first time we've had changes like this, and it won't be the last.
Exactly! Why only queue one day when queuing every day would get you more Alterac Valleys.Hi
Managed to get into Alterac Valley on Monday. We lost again, but it wasn't a massive thrashing.
Keep queueing for Alterac Valley!
I found a good way to cut the waiting time for WSG queueing: switch from 20-29 to 10-19 bracket. Queues are so much faster.
You will forgive me, I'm sure, if I don't believe you. This just sounds too much like a 19's ploy to steal players back from F2Ps to the dying bracket that they abandoned in droves.
I'm not saying that's what you're trying to do with this post. I'm just saying that's exactly what it sounds like you're trying to to with this post.
It's possible to be viable in the bracket lvl10-19 as F2P.
Oh, you didn't indicate that you were talking about 10-19 XP-on. That would change my response entirely.

I'm fully F2P, looms were grinded (ground? not a native speaker) out before i dinged lvl 7. That's commitment right there.
I understand what you did but you spent a lot of time by doing Darkmoon Fair grinding. On my side, I created this character sooner this week (or maybe last saturday). I just wanted to spend the minimum of grinding time to be viable enough in WSG. By keeping this same lvling model, every 2weeks I could create a character and try all the class, having fun in WSG by having the less queueing time.
Notice that both looms are PvP looms, buyable with honor. I'm not sure if I even have the DMF treasure guide on him. The main grind was the loom grind, it took approximately 7h total (spread over multiple days). Stendel's was much easier in comparison. If you enter WSG at lvl 10 with whites, you have about 630 hp and you can't do shit (personal experience + observations from the xp on bracket). All others will have hp ranging from 1.2k to 1.7k. I think it is worth taking some more time getting low ilvl greens to as many slots as possible, which maks you that much more effective.
I looked up very quick for your looms, I assumed you got theses from DMF.
Here was my 1st WSG as lvl10. I got the most of green items I could get and the result is viable at the end.
Sorry but I'm really wondering if that's honestly fun to you? I tried playing horde one day with a friends convincing and after beating ally 20s with 29 premades on WSG all day I just got bored.1) Be Horde.
2) Block EotS and AV.
3) Queue WSG.
4) ???
5) Profit.
When I first looked at the armory, i didn't notice the greens. My bad. However, I'd go with a bit extra effort and get an amulet (malachite pentant, 2 agi, lvl 13), at lest one ring (2 stam one at lvl 12) and flying tiger goggles (engineering 100 needs lvl 10). I'd probably also get Stendel's.
I agree that your current build is viable, but since more often than not opposite team has more loomed people, one wants (needs even) to be as powerful as one possibly can be in this early level. I don't know how US bgs are, but in EU 10-19 xp on bracket people are either loomed head to toe or lvl 10 questers with a couple white pieces. There usually is no middle ground.
You're an ally hunter, you aren't allowed to form opinions on hordes gameplay! (joking manner) In all seriousness though don't expect to get much serious replies when critiquing horde on this site
