Best professions to make money ?

mining has treated me well so far on one of my 80s. during the WG/after i have pretty much free reign on all the saro and titanium in the place..not to mention all the other zones are almost deserted if you like other places to farm. saro bars and titanium ore is what i sell mainly. course you can also farm cata ore if you have the expac too



but i can see almost any proff making good money depending on the market. gathering profs are the best if you have little to no start up money obviously. and once you get a decent amt of gold start playing the ah as well as selling your goods
 
I mine and skin and fish mostly because herbs are low right now on my server but i got a special person for each =)

Edit: Also i make about 4-8k a day from 1 hour of work (farming mats) so it's easy money

It's not too bad. You could use gathering profs to get you a little gold and get going. I literally made about 30k on a server recently and I started with 100g. You could also roll a DK and farm up a rare pet to get you going. Or you could snipe the neutral AH (items are usually 1g or cheaper) to get it going. There's a lot of ways I probably haven't even thought of to get some spending money.

Alchemy with transmutation master will net you a steady income from truegold/volatiles. Also being the best stat bonus from any profession at 80 (due to the trinket) it's a nice investment.



Some of the Molten Front recipes that will start becoming unlocked soon require truegold to craft :)
