Best professions for pvp

I am rolling with alchemy and BS on my disc priest for +75 stam trinket and + 2 gem slots. Wondering what others are doing and also what people think is best!

Engineering is best by a landslide for every class in this bracket at 70. And Jc offers very competitive stats to the extra gem sockets from BS or the shoulder chant from inscription. While also offering your high Stam, haste and arp neck for AP wearers, and decent neck options for spell casters and a very nice offensive JC only trinket that offers intellect and stamina with an on use spell power bonus

The JC trinkets are only available for lvl 75+ I thought. Decided to roll eng/JC for the 3 big gems though

even w/o trinkets JC is the best stat profession, theres basically no reason at all to not grab it unless you like the tailoring proc or something like that

As stated above, there are level 70 versions of those trinkets, that offer varying bonuses, the spell power one as I stated and as posted above has a high amount of stamina passive while also being an offensive trinket and the ap one offers a decent number close to berserkers call while being a 1 min and 30 sec cd with niche advantages due to this

You could argue for some burst DPS classes the tailoring cloak chant would be better than the extra stats from the 3 JC gems, but I won’t get into that because I’m sure I’ll get a lot of flack. I run eng/tailoring on my 69 fire mage and I love the proc. Generally it procs first attack when OOC for a bit. I’m already attempting to cast 1 scorch on target for debuff, before I start my burst. So I’ll generally get the cloak enchant proc after that first scorch, empowering all my burst to come.

Tailoring is super slept on.

Your math is a tad off, since it's not 100% proc chance. Procs are fun sure, but not the most valuable for many classes
