Jva has a point. If someone thinks that a thread is against the rules, they can report it. If someone doesn't enjoy the content of a thread they can stop reading it. if someone makes the effort to post in a thread to say or imply that they don't like the thread or its content, then they're actually the ones who are off-topic and derailing it. There are lots of things that I don't care for in the world, but I don't jump into the midst of those who do care for them and tell them their business.
Whether or not "Best Of" lists as a whole are beneficial or detrimental is a debatable point, and one that I as a moderator haven't decided upon yet, but the midst of such a thread is not the proper place to discuss the thread's merits. There are other avenues for that which are less contentious. I have half a mind to just go through and delete every post that isn't on topic. You guys looove to tear into each other so much on this forum, and we've given you leeway to do so, but we're going to have to start reining it in because many of you are taking it too far. Friendly jabbing in the interests of fostering competition was a noble aim, but so many of you far surpassed that goalpost a long time ago.

and trust me you can be punished for what you do, i directly insulted you as a player and still when talking with mods who read the entire thing later yesterday night the only real response i got was ''not sure when im going to infraction allybeboba" so please realize you're not helping our threads coming in to do what you do. most logical moderator would probably not disagree
theres difference within positive feedback and negative feedback. positive feedback = posting your list, negative feedback = anything that argues & complains about these lists, on a thread like this. its what this thread was created for, peoples opinion on best of 19 list. argueing as in like replacing a list with a list of your own isn't what i mean though, the more lists ppl see the more it usually stirs up 19s, and typically is an attempt to have people playing better after seeing that people dont think they're "as good" at the class they want to be, as good as ''whoever is listed"'' anyway/to help with activity, seeing as horde cant get pops later in night / pre-midnight evening without pizza's grp most nights..
edit: its like when someone goes on a lil wayne official video release on youtube, and then goes into comments to complain about how trash he is as a musician/artist/rapper. why even be on that video in the first place??? <--- this was the type of scenario that i questioned from you being here from the jump, i was pretty sure it was just to talk shit & NOT to post a list since this thread was likely to rub you the wrong way as many threads have in past however long period of time that people have been getting irritated by you

What you are stating is that only certain people's opinions matter in threads such as these? And if you do not fall into the social order of the structure of the system you get "booted out". You realize what that sounds like do you not?
So in reality, if in fact I have received negative infractions, the modererators, in their infinite wisdom should be reading all of my posts and the ones that I have commented to and all those people should receive infractions as well. I have not broken the CoC but many many others have. As I do not derail a thread unless it already derailed. If anything, I try to put it back on track. At the very least I give it a bump TTT. I do not personally attack anyone or use crude language. All of which are against the CoC. I come in and leave with a positive additude. Maybe that is why so many dislike me so. Many people dislike happy people.
If you would like to start a list of the things that I have done "wrong" I will happily address them.

That's really not it at all. It's a matter of whether someone's post is on-topic or off-topic, and whether it is constructive or non-constructive/destructive.
I've already given a warning on this thread for people to stay on topic, but so many of you have gone off-topic that I can't effectively remove the off-topic stuff without totally gutting this thread. I didn't want to lock it before, trusting that you guys would get the message and keep it on-topic, so now I'm faced with the choice of either deleting all the off-topic posts, or locking the thread to stop the side-tracking. Neither of those options is appealing to me.
Allybeboba, you are indeed stirring up a lot of unneeded controversy in a lot of threads, and dragging many of them off-topic. We see that you're managing to do so while just barely skirting the CoC, but we do reserve the right to interpret the CoC as needed, and your posts have also triggered a conversation behind the scenes on whether we need to change enforcement of the CoC across the board. So let this be a heads-up: your posting behavior needs to be adjusted. I generally like to leave the 19s to [MENTION=21759]Superstylin[/MENTION] to monitor, but it's getting out of hand.
