EU+US Best looking/your favourite F2P mounts?

I was wondering what cool mounts you could get at Level 20. I only have the alliance racial mounts like the Human's horses or the Night Elves' Sabers. I know there is a really cool armoured horse you can get from getting to Honor Level 15 and the Hearthsteed, but what other cool/rare mounts are available?
 
Most of the TCG ones are pretty nice, but obviously expensive with IRL funds. If you exclude those, I've always really liked Sea Turtle. :]
 
I know it's technically not a mount, but the fishing tournament trinket turns you into a fast swimming fish and has been super useful. I also like the Worgen's Mountain Horse for ally (Gilneas rep), or the Ivory Courser pvp mount. There's still plenty of time to knock out a few AV and get the wolf/ram from it too
 
Yeah Id def try and grab the korraks revenge mount while you still can now that they made them usable at 20. Itd be a good one to start the mount hunt with past the rep mounts since its a bit more time sensitive that the others
 
How long is that event going on for? I haven't played in quite a few months. Might as well hop on and get some F2P stuff.
 
Sometime in January I dont remember when exactly. It doesn't take that long to get the mount and if you have some spare marks of honor laying around theres some mogs you can buy and some rings/necks worth picking up in arathi highlands as well.

I mostly did the F2P for collecting stuff and shinies, so I'd be fine with a participation trophy.
 
The one i'm waiting for, in maybe a year or two :rolleyes: : Prestigious Midnight Courser (honor level 250)
Just because it's a cool one to flex on it, and also matches perfectly my rogue's tmog :cool:

Other than that, the Bleakhoof Ruinstrider is my favorite one for now :D

Get a warlock to summon you there, tag demon and pull towards a guard, guard will kill the demon and u get credit.

U dont consider the honor level mounts as hard then? And I also think that Pond Nettle, if possible would be condiered "hard" to get

Well, other than the level 250/500 honor mounts, I don't think the others are that special tbh. First time I am seeing this Pond Nettle mount mentioned tho. It would be a cool one, considering you will need lock sum + a huge amount of casts to loot. Just not sure if we can fish there, without legion fishing that is. Please, someone, confirm so I can start farming haha.

The tread is nice, let us know if there are any other rare ones that are not well known.

Well, I'm at 12k casts, while the average is at 3k casts .... no confirmation it can drop for F2P tho ... will update when I find the motivation to fish it more ...
 
Did some digging, can confirm it's completely rng and not dependent on fishing skill level. Unfortunately, they seem to have bugged most of the available pools when they dropped BFA. Here's a still-fishable location someone grabbed it post-xpac (but any green pond there should work if your cast lands). They self reported 17k casts, others got it after 150, avg seems about 1 in 1000. rng is a cruel mistress.

About the pond nettle, curently at over 10k casts and still trying, anyone on xpoff that actualy got it on a level 20 ?
