Best horde hunter race?

Hey, I am considering faction changing my hunter over to horde. Just wanting to get some opinions as to what race would be the best...

I'm currently leaning toward tauren for that 5% hp bonus, but i donno, BEs have some nifty racials as well.

Please post some replies here for what race you think is the best for horde hunters and why.

orcs for the damage boost

trolls haste can be nice if you're low on hp and get 30% haste

BE, silence for fears i guess, more base int if you're goin int build

tauren for the stun and the extra hp and the stun

Isn't it just a flat 20% now? I might have been dreaming that. The troll racial

yes troll racial is flat 20%



orc is probably best for a shoot the shit out of targets build

tauren for a defensive hunter with extra hp and stun

BE if you want that extra silence...probably works best with more of a melee hunter or jousting hunter

undead if you want to be awsome post patch

troll is good for all around since it has movement reductions reduced and has the haste racial. probably best for the long term returns

IMO Orc

5% more pet Dmg

74 Ap Racial with a 2 min Cd

15% less duration on stuns

Aren't all stuns by 19 2 seconds at best?



Granted though the other orc racials are also pretty good. Belf Racial requires close range so it's use is limited. Tauren Racial also suffers similarily but is useful against phys DPS classes as well. Troll Racial, has extra crit on bows, and if you have a good spot to pluck away from, the racial haste is nice.

I say orc... cuz above mentioned 3 pvp based reasons.

also I play orc hunter, and the burst dmg from Bloodfure is very nice^^

belf for arena

Tauren are decent at both

Troll for sexyness

tauren 5% HP racial was nerfed priot to WOTLK release

before it was 5% of total HP, which included armor/enchants



after, it is now 5% of base health so a naked tauren will only have about 5% more HP than a naked NE.
