Best 20 FC class

Nobody has yet mentioned that resto shaman receive 15% more healing than a druid and 9% more than a protadin whilst having strong healing abilities, far stronger than a druid's. They also take 10% less damage while casting. Worth factoring in.

I agree however they still lack the mobility of a druid.

Shamans lost the ability to dispel poisons ages ago. They can only remove curses and with a talent pick in the fourth tier remove magic effects.

I spend a lot of time assisting fc, and I've seen every class successfully carry it with me or alone. For quickness, sure hands down, rogues, druids, and shamans. But they're all kind of squishy. The problem with shamans is that you can't cast and move (not too many instants), and throwing down totems pops you out of ghost wolf (and you can only talent wolf to instant if you are a 24 enhance). Rogues and druids are good because they can stealth in, but many many times I've seen them make it almost across field and die. Often times it seems both classes seem to think they can solo and outrun heals.

In my opinion, I'd say paladins and hunters are best fc's. I don't think that needs explaining as both are stupidly? great in this bracket. On the rare occassion I've seen mages in this bracket, they too make good carriers with blink and frost spells.

My favorite fc's though are the ones who have more than 1k health. Though I have seen a rogue with rez sickness, 200 health, cap it.

No love for Human Disc Priest? I run the flag all the time, bubbles are ridiculous at this level, and EMFH plus fear is great. A good priest is unstoppable. They will drag you across the map and not die.

Being that I've FCed as all three druid specs, I would say that a resto sham is way more suited for the job in this bracket. They simply can take way more hits. I'm not very mobile dead and no matter how much faster 40% run speed seems they (hunters...) always seem to stay in range even when constantly powershifting. I'd say a prot/hpally or a prot warrior would both do better as well. If you have support, such as a premade, anyone can run the flag.

Well, I believe Droid already said he prefers the more mobile classes (best for pug), so I'd go with Drood / Sham. BUT, when the chips are down there is no better FC (for holding off a full assault) than a prot warrior. With the debuff up it becomes all about MITIGATION, you can have all the HP in the world, won't mean jack with the debuff up. Then the game becomes dodge / parry / block IMHO.

I have 2 F2P toons I consider FC's:

Beefstock -Resto Drood (see the sig)

Hitmeplease - Prot Warrior http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/aerie-peak/Hitmeplease/simple

In pugs prot/holy pala or prot warrir may be good, but imo in a 10v10 premade escenario, a Resto Shaman with a good kiting D would be best hands down (druids are too squishy to do the job nowdays).

prot paladin is by far the best FC in this bracket. 10 minute cd LoH, BOP, 6 second stun on a (less than) 1m cd, instant heal with word of glory, massive 1.5s heal, tons of armor, bonus hp, shield avoidance, bonus healing received. the list goes on and on. there are certainly also perks to both druid and warrior at 20, but prot pallies are just too damn good.
