I see your argument, but BoF is just way better than shapeshift, I have 2 19's a pally and druid and the pally is way surperior.

I recently faced two severly twinked pally in bgs on Nightfall bracket. Can remember the spelling of their name because it had accent but: Station and Yougottrucked something like that. Honestly, with all the buff and everything they are nearly unstoppable. If they have a CCer with em weither mage lock sham druid or even hunter you can say goodbye to your flag. Maybe its just that I have seen more Pally lately but I defenitly think pallys are better.

Premades: Druid.

Pugs: Pally.

Difference is negligible. Each class has it's pros and cons. One such trade-off would be Pallies having better damage mitigation, while druids have more health. There's more to it than that, but you get the gist. I've already written things on this, so I won't go in to more detail.

BoF can be viewed as superior but I just dispell that crap on my priest (shamans also have purge in this bracket, though I never see them using it -_-) and it doesn't make much of a difference, whereas droods can keep shapeshifting. I'd say drood personally, especially if they have the gear for it... In the end I'd still agree with Painaid though, I suppose it's really based on how the person plays the character and what support they have with them.

I vote paladins; they always seem way harder to take down for me.

Then again I barely ever see a decent druid FC and paladins ALWAYS pop their CDs on me it seems. =/

I agree with some posters, having played both i would definitely have to say druids are where its at for pre-made teams. As for pugs, paladins for sure they have a couple more outs and are a bit harder for an average player to stop.
