Battlegrounds

^^THIS!^^ In fact, if you que 20-29's for a challenge, and not just to steamroll 20's, this is ALL you'd que for.

Lets not fool ourselves. No one who makes a 29 is here to look for a challenge.

As someone who has been twinking since nilla, then helped pioneer the F2P, community and is now returning to my GF'd 29's I beg to differ. Those who know me know what I'm about. I want an even(ish) playing field. I'd 10v10 all day every day if that was an option. Since it is not, queing for a BG ONLY 29's can play seems like a next best thing.

I was just watching Cer's twitch and your premade, damn gg. Hafta admit I'm jealous. I really miss those days. If enough 29's and guilds would step it up, we could all be premading vs premades every day. And never have to que randoms, leaving the BG's ~mostly to trials (which I STILL play).

Just for the record, I never really jumped on the let's all hate the 24's bandwagon back in the day. I think peeople should be free to play what they like. In fact I rolled trials for THE CHALLENGE. Ask Cer about Beefstock if you need some perspective.

that is not true at all. alot of 29s indeed look for a challenge. i had plenty of challenge when i use to solo que and had to face you and your 7 other guildies!

Battle for Gilneas is my favorite low level bg yet it never pops. Hopefully that changes soon.

If the world was a perfect place the starter accounts would step up to the plate and rise to the occasion.
However, since it is not I suggest that level 29's start with at least setting one night a week to play Gilneas and go from there. Now, the week leading up to it, for instance let's say this Sunday July 5th. In every BG you enter everyone should advertise " Battle for Gilneas Event Sunday night July 5th! All 29's queue Battle for Gilneas Sunday night!" As you see, very few twinks even know twinkinfo even exists.

Orrrr..... You can try doing like many others have done and try rolling level 20's. They are quite fun. I have not rolled a level 20+ since 5.2 for the 20-29 bracket. For the classes I play, and my playstyle level 20's suit me just fine.

As soon as I get a new comp and get back in game I plan to make a push for Gilneas like you suggest. Anyone out there in the 29's guilds up for this?

*Sorry for double post....

Why do f2ps/vets always act like they're better than 29s? I play 19s but when I come into these posts they're just littered with the belittlement of p2ps. "If you want a challenge play f2p." Let's remember two things. First, they pay for the game, you don't. 90% of the time they will beat you because they are given access to better items, skills, etc. Secondly, you talking shit about p2ps will not solve the problem. Yes it might fill your void of anger from getting killed all day but at the end of the day 29's will still be queing. Telling p2ps to stop queing or to go get some skill will not make them stop playing. I have nothing against f2ps/vets(I used to play f2p and vet) but all I see is this slander. Same goes for 29s but honestly I don't see 29s acting this way. If someone wants to prove me wrong go for it. But any time I come into a 20-29 bracket thread I see a BUNCH of f2ps/vets talking shit. I believe it's time to accept the fact that because they actually pay for this game they receive better things and you complaining that that takes no skill won't help. I'm open to debate this in an orderly fashion without any flaming. :)

Can't say that I have seen any of this in this thread. Besides, none of us know who this mysterious "you" is that you are referring to.

Continueing our discussion concerning Gilneas. Now that we can queue for Wargames via xp-on, we may be able to get a few more Game nights set up. It is less of a hassel now.

good to see there are some out there looking to make the 29's a legit thing.

one of the things pointed out is that we need more guilds doing premade 10vs10 . if you have such a team please let me know ill line a game up with you.

the idear of setting a night up for Gilneas is a good starting point. so this weekend my guild and myself will be Qing for it, Hoping to see you there.

a "pure f2p" would work too

im flaming on the top predators of the bracket, you just flame on shit you cant kill

I think we found one of the mysterious "you"s that was mentioned earlier.

We do not necessarily even have to have "guild wars". RealIDs work just fine.
We have been doing it in the level 20 community for quite some time. You all should have a looksie over there. Level 20's arrange game nights quite often. Some are guild based and some are merely sign ups here on TI.
