a fully BiS geared Balance druid who knows how to PvP will go very far in this bracket.
Balance druids have one of the highest skill caps in this bracket. If you do plan on going balance, go Troll w/ Herb.
When needed to do burst dmg, you have your haste CDs which will come in handy and you should be getting pretty high crits.
Balance is crit-dependant, majority of your burst comes from lucky crits.
DoT spam as much as possible when you are not needing to single-target kill(IE: EFC). DoT spamming will proc Clearcasting which will let you cast Regrowth on people who need heals(this will allow you to offheal without running ur mana on empty). Rej whenever you can.
Don't be afraid to root spam. For example: Lets say you and this melee-class are trying to kill this hunter, most melee classes @this level will do more dmg than you, but they dont have much ToT abilities(other than ret paladins). By spamming roots to force the hunter in melee-range and keeping your teammate's ToT longer, you are being more helpful than you can possibly imagine.
You have the option to stealth, so choose your battles carefully.
Lastly, be aware of fighting Taurens/NEs. Because of their nature resist, you need to know what spells to use AGAINST them. Getting any of ur spells resist is an easy way to make you an easy target.
IE: Use starfire instead of wrath, and only apply ur moonfire dot instead of both ur dots. Even with the 10 spell pen trinket, they can still get resisted.
Sum it up:
You can CC
You can offheal(through HoTs and Clearcasting Regrowths)
DoT spamming(when you have this on 5+ ppl, you'll see some amazing numbers of the dmg charts, and it's an easy way to proc clearcasting)
With Haste CDs, you single-target burst dmg is proficient.
Stealth/Travel form makes you a hard target to kill.
Balance druids are always overlooked. Most people think they are complete garbage, take my advice; roll Balance. Balance has one of the highest skill caps in this bracket, and if you actually know how to PvP; you'll blow peoples mind away.
