Sadly I came back to a bit of a mess. In 4.3 Blizzard added a wonderful "feature" which automatically allows someone in the guild to take leadership after the guild leader has not been active for 30+ days. The guild bank possesed several valuable items such as Shadowfang, and a couple Mindthrust bracers. Luckily the person who stole only took a pair of mindthrust bracers and feet of the lynx. Leaving the other 3 tabs of gear and the shadowfang alone. The person then proceeded to equip the bracers on his train wreck of a priest twink.
This is very annoying, but I should be happy it's not all gone.

I just talked to a GM, he basically said I cannot get the items back (I expected this), however the GM was very unaware of the game stating that the feature added in 4.3 allowing guild leader to be claimed was in the game since launch. Anyways I asked to speak to a senior GM and I will report back after we have spoken! Odds are I'm not getting it back.
