Avoid Twinkys Community (Alliance)

So I am standing around in front of SW on my rogue and get asked to join Twinkys community. Get asked by one of the leaders (Badtank) to join his community group. I told him I would think about it considering I wasn't really a twink cause no Antorus gear. One of the members Ðō proceeds to try to duel me even with a 12k advantage in hp and clearly lot better gear, with lightning lasso doing literally half my hp every rip almost. He wins 2 and starts giving me crap about how bad I am and I am medicore at best...just out the blue giving me crap. So I tell him it is gear difference, and tell him to drop his ilvl so he has 12k less than me...he wouldn't do it. He takes off a trinket and belt and still has thousands more hp than me and higher ilvl, I destroy him a like 7/10 he wins last 2 cause start fight no CDs give him a chance.

Now he leaves still talking trash and goes in Twinkys Community chat talking crap about me and others (like Finruki) join him when I call him out for it. I am also using a new setup and hadn't played rogue for months I even said that before all this and his leader just turns a blind eye to everything he is doing then logs. Badtank seemed okay guy but clearly lot of Aholes in that community and lot of circle jerking going on I would avoid them like the plague. Not cool people at all, ones I seen anyway and obviously not controlling the trash attitudes in that group. And pics just in case he comes in saying he didn't get washed, but I didn't even have Shadowstep or my abilities setup right lol. Just a heads up for anyone thinking about joining them and a word to them might want to clean out the trolls giving your community a bad name.

Haha had a run in with one of them too, might be a twink superiority complex. Not all of us Twink for honorable reasons and some just want to smash people less geared than them it makes their day.

While I was present for the duel it is being misrepresented in this post. The rogue in question was equally geared and had joined the community requesting to duel Do the shaman I'd been running skirmishes with. He requested the duel and left the community after a storm of obscenities following this duel as you can see scrolling through our community chat logs to the date this was posted.

you enjoy losing or....? i log out after only a few games lately because there just isn’t any horde competition on when i play.

as the resident asshole of 110 id like to point out they tolerate my bullshit attitude and it’s a pretty helpful and knowledgeable group of folks.
 
if you have been in this game long enough, or any other game with pvp, you will know there are all sorts of people .. dont get too surprise, or upset, or amuse, take it like its your any normal day, inhaling exhaling inhaling exhaling and suddenly you smell fart smell .. after that you continue to inhale exhale inhale exhale like nothing has ever happened and continue to live
 
That community has been toxic since they started. Badtank is a power hungry child, and makes a fool out of himself daily. Not to mention he would make suggestions or advice that was completely wrong. I personally hate the guy. Nothing wrong with the community, but he single handedly makes it worth not being in it. He throws his imaginary weight around like the big kid on the playground.

Well I hadn't had much luck with the horde side either. No one responds to anything regarding bgs or raids, one guy wouldn't even queue with me because, "Not sure if it's against the rules to q with someone using the xp bug, but I only q with legion accounts." My god I almost faction swapped right then lol.

Sorry, you feel that way. I have had a great experience with Badtank

  • He runs 5 weekly Mythic Antorius runs to help gear up the community and get this (free)
  • Badtank actually gives information freely, I know of some xpoff community members who wont talk about upgrades or how to twink properly for whatever reason ( boosting business or want to be the big kid on the block or shy)

to name a few things he does. Not here to "convince" anyone or some PR stint wanted to give my input
The Horde also has a great community but I feel with Night leaving the game they took a big hit in leadership but they are also a great bunch of people.

ßest-Stormrage (Veechard) While I respect your choice to post. I think it is unfortunately misleading as you were removed from the Twinkys community for scamming people for $. I respect that not many of the twinks Horde side will like me in game but it's wrong to try to manipulate their opinions of the community as well. I have included a screenshot of my horrible UI and your parting message to me.

Scamming people out of their money? I gave very detailed reasonings on the benefit of coming on my paid runs vs your sketchy runs with like 10 twinks in it. Mind you this was like 3 month+ that I left when it was still decently hard to clear it, not to mention hard to find someone with skip.

Me and press were some of the only ones who were offering sure fire runs. Other benefits is when you brought a bunch of twinks on your runs, if 120s got pieces they didn’t need, all your twinks would be rolling against each other. I made it clear when advertising sell runs I took 2 twinks max, and of different armor types.

You at the time, and still don’t realize my service was completely different than the shit runs you were offering. And people still contacted from the community and got runs from me.

I wish I had taken screen shot of you saying “I was scamming kids out of their money because they went out and got bnet cards”. That was extremely entertaining you trying to play this noble hero saving the community.

Sorry but Badtank is not your average player. Basically the definition of a 2004 power hungry raid leader from classic. I tolerate a lot of different attitudes and personalities, but this guys tipping the scales of ignorance. And as mentioned before, looks like he wasn’t changed.

It bothers me that after all this time you're still lying about what you did ßest-Stormrage. You didn't charge gold you charged cash booted some of the people who paid you and threatened others with removal from the community. I'm fine being called names because I'm an adult but don't lump me in with what you did please.

Christ you boys are a bunch of whiners and finger pointers it’s a game. Relax and enjoy the game. So what if there is a bunch of name calling ... just move on. It doesn’t mean shit
 
If you guys have personal issues to resolve concerning real life currency please take it to PMs. I'll say it again for the thousandth time, discussing real world currency trades are forbidden and a bannable offence on these forums.

Badtank, the report button should not be used on all posts made that go against your opinion. Clearly players have voiced some concern about your in game manners, might be worth hearing their feedback.
