Attn fellow f2p :)

I'd like to also note that the Darkmoon 16-slot bag sells for 2g50s.

If you've got all the BoAs/Mounts/Pets you wanted from DMF already, then trading in 1 ticket for bags and selling them at 2g50s each is a good way to spend the leftover tickets you don't want.

The bag is Unique, so you'll have to redeem/sell them one at a time. :)

This is how I jump started each alt. 5 tickets are handed out to you for attending your first faire, which equates to 10g and a 16 slot bag. It takes 5 minutes to finish all the dailies, so you really can't beat that time investment to gold ratio.

It's a point I've considered making before, but the fact is that, as F2P, we need ways to get rid of our gold, not vice versa. A useful tip to keep in mind, for sure, but I'd be more inclined towards saving up for another novelty item or heirloom trinket or what have you - there are enough DMF rewards to keep us occupied for a long while yet.

We don't need to get rid of gold. It's an imaginary currency, anyway.

F2Ps could theoretically feel the need to make gold quickly, if they wanted to spend significantly more than 10g in a short amount of time and didn't have enough reserves stacked up. I've never felt the need to, but I'm not actively hunting pets and recipes.

Except that gold has an actual monetary value

I might be wrong of course. I'm not that into game world economics, but I do know they exist. ^^ How does gold have an actual monetary value, for F2Ps? Exempting possibly the selling of my account once I'm done, as I could see someone paying money for getting complete sets of boa and a bank full of Eternium Thread.

Gold has no monetary value to F2P. As far as making gold goes, I get it from vendor items from JP converted to honor. These conveniently stack too, so don't take up much room at all. Of course I spend a lot of my game time on PvP. I also do the dailies. Tickets are a great way to get a bag and some heirlooms on multiple characters with a minimum of time invested, but I think using the tickets to make gold is a complete waste of time.
