Picked up one off a normal mob today in SFK. Cant say that Shadowfang will still drop but atleast we know some of the older SFK items have been made to drop out of the redesigned instance.

shame is got heavily nerfed. AB is lvl 16 now, but SF is lvl 19, but sayin that i picked up a nightreaver for like 30g so lvl 19 stuff must still be dropping in there

Thats probably why since AB has a reduced item level lower level mobs can drop it.

Whereas SF is still lvl 19 itemlevel 24 so i think it would be safe to say it only drops from lvl 21 mobs. AKA the bosses if im correct.

Yeah, the droprate should have increased due to the item level nerf.



I still think it's a viable option -- people are using Keeshan's Dagger which is very similar stat wise.

I think Shadowfang still drops. For what it's worth (not much) a GM told me that she checked and it does indeed still drop.

they haven't been BiS since.. a long time ago. and even then no-one played daggers because the damage was bad. Its just a really cool looking dagger. Its not bad by any stretch of the imagination, just not BiS.
