Btw just wanted to get back on this, this is a misconception that I once had too, from the link you got a while back. This guy on his website made false screenshots, photoshoped and/or smoked a bit too much. The items he linked to be leather and/or new items, are the old mail stuff. There is no new leather shoulders.

Ok then! I'm always curious to see how other rogues are going to gear, it's always better to have more point of view than your own... I don't think his gear set up is that outdated, tho I don't agree with it, as I'm not gearing like that.

I don't quite follow Med'an... I didn't entirely read your guide, especially the last part that gets a bit crazy, but I thought you were being honest...
The only troll I can see is the daggers, but I would have thought it was most likely a mistake than a troll... Wep2 should be 1 and Wep1 should be 2...and btw yes I have seen some people follow that blindly in their armory I'm not gonna say who (they are not the one to be laughed at, but thoses who mislead them in the first place). The thrown is also outdated, there is that Ninja star, even tho, I don't conceive equip that just to look cool... Fights are so fasts nowadays, I wouldn't goof around... Ofc in arena/duel that might be another story.
Everything else sounds more or less genuine (that's what point out it's not a troll, we are not here to decode half of something) even tho I don't agree with everything...

Guides are always somewhat subjective, it depends on what each individual is trying to achieve. Some also like different aspects of PvP, such as arena/BG`s or duels. Guides should always be there to be picked at, this is what improves them, getting feedback and different people`s opinions.
This, of course, should always be done constructively imo. For example, if I disagree with something or recommend something to the contrary, I usually give an example, followed by a reason why to back up my statement. Not everyone follows this, however.
Donniedarko has a nice rogue there, and his own take on things. I believe, for general PvP, he has way too little health although he will hit very hard. I personally prefer more survivability, yet that might be a PvE set he is sporting and he might usually run with a high stam set-up for normal PvP.
That is just an example and not singling Donnie out. I merely used it as an example of how differing peoples approaches can be, depending on their take on things.

But in this case it was the fact that person "a" did a charity that tricked people into spending gold/farming time and that gave you a bit of hatred. I know I, among others are being really lazy and such for noting doing all tre research by ourselves. But i dont think that tricking them into making the wrong choises and such is the right thing to do.

Med'an, you are the one saying your guide was ment to mislead people and test them, and whatever... I didn't say that, you did, nor did I say your guide was crap... not once, nor did I even think it was bad, if you read me, I said it appeared to me legit... I also don't believe there is one gear set in stone and everything else goes down the toilet... Beside my armory is not secret state...
Mrdoobry, no this is my current pvp set (/hiding-behind-a-rock), I need to tweak a few things or two, it's not yet set in stone, anyway notably I'm awaiting the boa cap, which will definitively lock my toon to 28 hit and over 1kap. I have 30% less hp than most people, yes but I hit at the very least 30% harder, somewhere around 40% maybe more...(im talking as a whole ap combined with crit here)they nerfed rogues so hard, if you stay stubborn on a stamina set you hit like a bug in my opinion...while everybody else has insane bursts... druids, paladins, hunts, even wars would still be more dangerous than me with less gear tho...so nothing to piss in your pants either... and at the same time we have more agi than anybody else, so more AP, so I'm digging and digging in that direction. This is a high risks gear but yielding very satisfying results for me, even against the strongest characters I fought against so far. Also the fact that I have a 1.9 dagger make it more effective the more AP I get.
If something goes wrong even with 30% hp more you die anyway, people have more snares more stuns, more bumps, more this, more that. And most importantly fights are very shorts. It might be different if I had a pocket healer, but I don't... Subtlety rogues, they are very fragile. I just make them more fragile but even more deadly. If I had to choose between having 1 hp and the dps of a level 80, I think I would put my signature down the paper right away. Oh yes it's not pretty, but fight a feral druid, and tell me what you think (you - as people in general). I have put all my chips on agility, why did I do that ? again that magical 25%agi that is more powerful than people want to give it credit for. No other class have that. They get 15%. I think I have more stats if you add sta+agi than any twinks I have seen so far for obvious reasons. And I could increase that even more if I got some sense to replace say my aqua ring of agi to the monkey. And same for archaedas. Etc. I need to tweak a thing or two, I wanted to break 1k AP since I was so close just for funs, it's not my final plans yet, but I will have around 2K hp unbuff and that's all, 30% less hp, for 30+ more dmg, it is a very good trade. As a rogue, we get the jump, we call the shots. Then we talk about how much hp we have left in the pool.
I'm ok with the risk.
But anyway like you said, everybody has he own sight on things, hell I'm probably wrong... that's why I don't even bother making a guide...yet (I'm sill weighting the pros and cons)
