Ashen Gloves

What Yapah means with 1 agi = 4 crit is that you should use a item where u gain 4 crit for the cost of 1 agi :)
pretty basic when it comes to gearing

Potency is only good for ambush then your suppose to weapon swap to ele force after ambush. Keep potency full fight is dumb. Not swapping is just lazy. If you don't intend to weapon swap then always run double ele force.

I've always geared full agi and it's worked for me thus far. I think what it comes down to is preference and the situation. There's times I run ashen as you can see that's what I have equipped currently. But there's also times I run fang.

It's really not worrh swapping no matter what.

When you use double ele force and ambush, you get 2 ele force procs on ambush.

If you use potency on ambush, the number will be bigger but you wont get the ele force on ambush, then when you switch weapons, you waste a GCD and your white attacks reset.

Wouldn't the value you of crit be dependant on your ap, vers, ele force, and your crit % (since it still dr's). It could not be an equal 4 for every rogue.

Yes it would, the more agility you stack the more valueable crit becomes. Although most rogues use 4 crit = 1 agility as a simplified version

You could gear full stamina and it could work, but that doesnt mean its best. Giving up 6 crit for a tiny 1 agility, and giving up 10 crit 6 stam for a tiny 2 agility is stupidity, not preference.

Ashen Gloves > Foreman Gloves ?

hmmmmmmm

At what point would haste > crit?

Also Jamesb, agi cloak chant isn't bis. After a certain amount of AP the % dmg from vers is better, not to mention move speed.

I don't think you have the resources to test that, and most people who don't have the 12 agi will probably say that. It's been tested and confirmed that the extra AP is infact better. The movement speed would be the only viable arguement, and I have sprint.

The resources you would need would only be simple math. You run natural burst simulations, take an average, then look at only dmg that is effected by ap. Multiply that by the % increase your new ap with gf chant. Add that to the non-ap dependant part of your burst. Next just take the whole burst dmg and multiply the % the vers cloak gives.

You would need the cloak. I have tested it is what I'm saying.
