Going into 3 vs 3 arena

Soulmagic ( Warlock) Exodin ( Paladin ) Gameking ( Mage)

VS 3 Gnome mages with tazik and so on , All popping Cds So 3 mages + Mirror images + all Frost... Chance to live = Fuck all

Yes mages need a nerf with that damage its stupid

Sure, I bet you next patch 95% of mages go fire because it goes much better in damage, We are op atm live with it.... Soon you'll hopefully see a nerf on us and the bads will reroll again personally i play mage because it can be fun "TO BLOW THE HELL OUT'A PEOPLE" Theres always an op class just atm it's mage it could be any so stop qq'ing and play.

Triple mage??? lol'd MMP ruins that combo
 
I can understand why blizzard doesn't change the damage, they want the spec to be 'viable' in PVE, specifically @ 85, but their control is just stupid, The majority of melee classes have next to zero chance vs a frost mage, the amount of freezes, slows, roots, stuns, silences, etc.

Only melee classes at 70 that i've seen beat what i would classify as "good" mages, speaking as a 2.6k 2s player, are deathknights and rogues.

They can nerf pre level 81, they did it before.

They really are too damn lazy, mage, priest and rogue should just get an overall 30% nerf or more, not much to it rlly. And take away some utility from them, or give more utility to the other classes. I mean locks cant portal till 78 or something and mages have blink on level 16 or so? Its just jk
 
Not that hard to kill mages tbh, any melee class has a good chance at beating them, maybe except warriors, as long as you don't face them in Ring of Failure.

True, but don't forget warlocks are the only class in game that hasn't had a single bad arena season @ 85 so it's kinda fair. Still, good destro locks have a word to say imo.





If all this doesn't convince you, well fight fire with fire, grab a friend and level a mage to 70 in less than a day. Also remember that the game isn't supposed to be balanced around lvl70 and in no way should you whine at it since no one is forcing you to play it. Just my thoughts have a nice day

I really hope they do somthing like this, or just 'fix' things like warriors, hunter/mage vs warrior is just pitiful, hell, i even /sorry the resilience-stacked arms warriors i kite/kill in battlegrounds, but anyho.

It does sound like that and i have to agree with Esotra, warlocks are one of the weakest class at lvl 70, i mean, warlocks and ( bad ) hunters are the only thing that i can kill on my warrior without too many problems, and yes i'm talking about any kind of warlock.

I'v already this a few times, they should nerf mages and rogue by approximately 30 - 35 %, a good 30 % going into protection paladins as well, let's say a 20 % on discipline priest shields, give hunters deterrence, nerf a good 25 - 30 % on feral hunts ( getting a rip on the target and than going bear form to watch him die is just sad ).

Buff Warrior damage giving it his survability with two charges back ( at least we had a chance back than ) with a 10 second spell reflect ( what's up with the cooldown is has a the moment ) give resto druids cyclone, and wings to retribution paladin with a perhaps 30 % nerf to the hammer damage ( but at least giving them a chance to actually do some burst ) a good 20 % of overall shaman heals should be nerfed wile altough buffing Elemental survability, it's just stupid at the current state.

What have i forgot, ah yes death knights, give blood a 15 % nerf on self healing, give them a 15 % buff to damage done, a good 10 % taken off from frost and a DR on Howling Blast slow ( being kited as a warrior against another melee class is silly ) and give Unholy a 20 % buff to damage.

That is my point of view, obviously % is just to give an example and in some situation i would perhaps a bit more or a bit less, but you get the rough point.
 
I think things should stay the same and you should just play an OP class for easy wins and a nerfed class for a challenge o_O

- Warrior. Equal chances of winning, warriors' burst damage is insane.

Edit; Dat double post. I said 70 warlocks are not on par with 85 warlocks, they are not, therefore i guess my point still stands.



Surprise, surprise,just realized you were the mage who called the BiS lists on the 'How to gear your 70 for PvE', "bs", saying Serpent-coil braid was better, Your chart seems fairly accurate, Warriors insane damage + an entire gap-closer is just imbalanced, they should remove charge to give mages a better chance, poor mages, always getting the short end of the stick.

I play Disc and rogue, mage every so often even tho it bores me. Last season I used to queue with a frost dk (terrible survival) and we used to rape every single frost mage teams except for cyber's and freddielance's/sheeq's. So yeah you just need to find a way to outplay the opponents, like I said you can do it easily as long as you don't get ring of valor.

And about locks, last time i queued went into a 2400 disc/destro lock (i kinda stalked armory the lock, he had blue gems and missing loads of enchants) they could kill in a shadowfury and imo they soft counter mage comps due to magic damage reduction/ Blanket spell lock, devour magic and overall peels. Not to mention a mage pet dies in a global while a lock pet is close to immortal
