A lot of high elo games (at least on US) are queue dodging / alt-countering right now.

I hope that trend doesn't continue :/
 
Problem with EU is that no1 actually queues, farming 1 rating games, the good people have to step up and bring on some competition
 
People would rather farm rating at nights than play against an equally rated team.

Part of the problem is that it's easier to log on to alternate characters and make a team with 0 rating that counters your rivals than to actually queue against them with your main team.

Blizzard doesn't have skirmishes matched based on MMR, which is the main issue here.

I hear you, been playing ret queuing into the top teams on EU ladder (Warrior/Disc, Warrior/Rshaman) all day everyday

logging alts with low mmr havent been a problem on EU yet tho, hopefully we wont have problem with it
 
One regional thing I've found to be fascinating is that US focuses more on Disc healers, whereas EU seems to have more Rshams.

That kind of difference is really intriguing to me, and I wonder how something like that arises.

I mean I guess? That seems kind of subjective.

Rsham doesn't focus on dealing damage, but does more control oriented stuff. A skilled priest has to be able to swap roles very quickly and efficiently, but doesn't have access to any CC.

Looking at the top 15 of each region's 2v2 19 ladder, there seems to be the same amount of diversity - the only difference is that RSham is used more often than Discipline.

So I suppose you're right, if it is commonly agreed that Rsham is a more skillful healer than Disc. I'm not sure that it automatically is - especially when you face an Rsham team that has 0% counterplay, because the Rsham is a raidboss.
 
Was in queue for day as Frost Mage / Disc or Disc / Ret with my homies (Stubs and Viticus) but unfortunately, we couldn't face team at our rating... Can we set up a night that high rated team would queue ? (around 1950 or above would be good)

most twinks prefer to do arena late at night when battleground activity is low so im sorry not everyone can be catered for
