Are we able to participate in any way on secrets of Azeroth

the daily secrets are not able for f2p because of missing access to dragon isle. but what about

So far community rumors are doable, i did the first three ones yesterday, they are in openworld Azeroth, without any prerequisite.
Didn't try yet the 4th and 5th that just came out tho

I did the first part of the first day, finished the thing right next to the guild bank, then turned in the quest but didn't get the next spear quest.

I have just done the two achievements. Gotten the hat and the pet.
Also each pile of junk gives a bag that contains 250g and some greys so it's kinda worth.

How did u managed to continue after the first part with the Bank to the quest with the Spear (Day 1)? Am I doing something wrong or why I do not see the quest for the Spear?
