Are F2P 20s worth the effort?

I've been leveling a warlock to play around with the F2P bracket mostly because it's free. I haven't activated my WoW account in a few months. I was just wondering if it's worth the effort or if I might be better off paying for my account and playing a 19 or 29. I was never too big into twinking before. Are the queue times much better now with the BGs merged? Will the 20s bracket actually be enjoyable or will it constantly be steamrolled by 24s? What kind of wait times are there for 19s? 29s? It's a lot of questions, I know. Thanks in advance!
 
19s and 20s queue times are about the same but fluxuate.



29s no idea on queue times.



F2p accounts are fun if you don't want to pay and have fun. And 24s don't steam roll all the time they can easily be defeated given these two circumstances:

People on the opposing side are not helping the 24s and you and your level 20 friends mob the 24. But a more skilled level 20 can defeat a 24.

Every 24 I've faced has been extremely easy. The only challenges from 24 have been 24 hunters, but all the 24s I've seen are pretty bad skill-wise. OP, I think it's worth checking out. It's not going to be nearly as competitive as 19s, etc. but it's still pretty fun and queue times aren't too bad. I've wracked up about 1k hks so far in the bracket and while it's not my favorite I'm glad I checked it out.

Anyways, most 24 are in fact pants-on-head retarded, thats why they roll 24: Because they cant play and its the only way to win.



If you roll on Aerie Peak you will most often have someone to queue with.

I have yet to see a decent 24.
 
No need to be a decent 24 to be a good player in WSG.



My 24 is indeed not geared, but I don't care, I'm having fun, and it leave you a chance.
 
Are locked and F2P 20s in the same BG? Or are they still seperated?

Also, my 24 is in near bis gear (too lazy to farm Charged Gears for a gimmick char) and I can still be easily taken down by 4ish competent 20s. Then again I did choose a warrior so Im not quite as op as say a 24 pally or hunter...so far its a ton of fun. I'd also say that if anything my 24 helps balance the games gear-wise

He has the eye patch. Which means that, if he was a 19 twink and leveled to 20. He then got to 24 and faction changed? Or he faction changed a leveled twink to level it to 24?

I am at 25 minutes with no queue pop.
