Are ele shams good in the 19 bracket?

I just got back into twinking and I wanted to know if ele shams do good damage.

ele shams are hella good with a decent group backing it up. pretty good 1v1 to

Ele or Enh shamans can be devastating for the opposition given proper support.

Ele shaman are good if you have BoA and near BiS set, you are really squishy so you must stay in group, they can do amazing dmg but they are far from overpowered

Also, healing wave is a useless spell, you shall never use it in combat

They'll have more use coming patch 4.2, with ThunderStorm snare and

•Lightning Shield (and Water Shield) can no longer be dispelled. (though probably won't affect this bracket much with shamans being the only ones able to dispel).

Hardly a buff.. it costs no mana, and was nice to be able to spam while another buff was on you that you didn't want to get purged.



Ultimately another nerf for shamans.

And yeah, as a shaman you can always be a good support for your team but dont expect it will be as easy as being a paladin or some kind of hunter thing

The class is only getting more utility, especially in premades.

Well it mostly affects endgame, since the dispel on lightning shield would affect the new 4 piece pvp ele set which reacts to Lightning shield charges specifically.



for nerf part, I don't see many shamans in 19s to make use of lightning shield as a purge dump.

Anyways, the improved ele shaman for 19s isn't big, but the snare does give a little more advantage without relying on just knocking people downhill or off cliffs.
