EU+US Archaeology in 7.2 - Best Artifact Power Source?

Also, this could be just coincidental RNG but I was surveying around a silver digsite and there were 3 other people also surveying. The number of the angry (red) spirits increased, I noticed one guy "summoned" 3 at once. These spirits I've found (again RNG though so my opinion is probably biasd) seemed to drop more artifact power items. From that one digsite with the 3 others I got 1200 AP including 1 epic 750 AP piece. Sorry I didn't screenshot it.

Long ramble short, I think by having a small group could improve chances of summoning the red spirits, everyone can tag and loot them potentially increasing AP drops.

Edit: No idea what the red spirit things are actually called...

When solo digging you occasionally spawn 3 Angry Spirits as well, but I don't think group digging increases that chance.
