applying armor kits to boss bops drops and trade to twink in party?

The answer is probably NO, but is it possible to .... run WC with an 80, a 19.. the 80 loots leggings of fang, applies +40 rugged armor kit then trade the bop to the twink within the 1 hr or however long you've got to trade bop drops to party members who are eligible to loot?

Or does applying the rugged armor kit remove the new patch trade bops to party members thing?

I've never used the trade bops thing or seen it used ingame and am probably talking bollocks.

just a thought, might be a sneaky way of getting 24 more armor onto bop pants.

Dude! You're genius! Incoming +10 shadow resist pants for everyone. :)

If it works:p

I guess not since it's been a while since the trade loot shit was released and it should've been everywhere if it does in fact work.

You sneaky snake, quoted me before my edit. :p

The rugged can still be applied to boe pants by a high level without soulbinding them. I've got 7 or 8 boe leggings with +40 on them. Did a couple of darkweave only a few days ago. Store em in guild bank in case a patch soulbinds them.

My question is if the ability to trade bops to eligible party members is still available after armor kit is applied. When the 80 loots the leggings of the fang they're soulbound, but my understanding is that they can still be traded to 'eligible party members' within an hour or something. Didn't that come in in a recent patch?

I thought the same about arena agm's, looting with an 80 and trading to a twink party member, but was too scared to try and have it fail.

Like I said in OP its probably bollocks but worth a shot.

im certain there is a way to exploit lag to get around this, but for one thing i don't encourage that and also it's a pretty fast way to get banned.

The information I know regarding this issue will remain unknown to the public.

Why don't people ever listen to me QQ.

3.2 patch notes

"Players will now be able to trade soulbound items with other raid or group members that were eligible for the loot. This system will work like the Item Buy Back system and allow 2 hours for players to trade an item after it has been looted. Players who choose to enchant or add gems to the item will get one last confirmation before losing the ability to trade the item. "

sorry frost, thought you were talking bout standard enchanting = soulbound and not quoting from the specific patch notes. cheers for clearing that up.

oh well, I was talking bollocks.

Listen to Frost he knows what he is talking about. In addition +40 armor leg patches can be applied by someone lvl 35+ and then traded to a twink.

You can't use the trade bop within group thing with agms either. When a party kills a mob all members can loot depending on party loot settings and items in loot are flagged as tradeable to all party members who were within range of kill.

agm loot only available to person who opens chest not party so no group eligibility / group trades.

Pizza, if you actually know how to get a shadow kit on BoP pants in the current patch i will cut the tip of my dick off and post the video of me doing so on youtube.

That said, i think you're full of shit.

Maybe you could trick a GM to trade them back shortly after they expire with the enchant on them.

an armor kit's event.type is "Enchant Item Permanent" so unless theres a trade window or lag trick the patch notes that frost quoted would seem to rule out any party trading shenanigans.

Rugged armor kits do seem to have magical powers of exploitness tho... ;)
