US Anyone else unable to queue for BGs and arenas?

I'm trying to queue on my Vet and it tells me that Starter Editions can't perform this action. GG 20 tinking?
 
My F2Ps and vets can still queue.

OP, you might be experiencing what I experienced on my vet warrior some weeks back. When I logged onto my toon, I noticed my XP wasn't locked (even though I locked it). I went to lock my XP and Slahtz <Experience Eliminator> took my gold, and it essentially locked my XP but then it gave me that error. It said I couldn't queue BGs.

Basically, I talked to him again and told him that I wanted to gain XP again. He proceed to keep taking my gold and doing nothing. I still wasn't able to queue until I re-logged. If I talked to him again, it would bug out again until I re-logged.

I assume it's related to the inability to queue 19s on an un-subbed account.

I tried unlocking my XP but it did nothing except lose 10g. I tried to log in and out but it doesn't work. I still can't queue for BGs. Should I open a ticket?
 
Ok if you veteran with your XP locked you can't do any pvp . It is a bug and GM is trying to fix it but can't to nothing about it right now. Only fix for now is to pay ur subscription in wow the you can Q with XP locked or not. Or unlock your XP before going back to veteran mode.

One more think. This bug only effect some people not all of us . I am one of the people who suffer from this bug. Have 2 hr conversation and testing done with one of the GM. Need more info just ask.

I had the same problem when i Q on my veteran account after 2 years

If when you were Sub you locked your XP, when sub expired, u will not be able to Q for Bg's(from what i seen, not sure)
My acc is veteran, i leveled up a priest to 20, and i could do bg's on him normally

Contact a GM, he will fix the issue for you
The Gm will enable your character to Gain XP, but you will not level up more than 20 as account is starter edition, but you will be able to Q for bg's, Arenas

Be carefull though, if you Sub gain, you will gain XP, gotta lock xp again to do bg's

This is a bug, when your subscription expires, all your 20 chars with locked experience cannot enter in bg or in arena, also you cannot unlock experience, you will pay 10g but experience is still locked.
After three Tickets, I got the right GM that solved this for me, since I had 6 chars with this problem he added to me 24h game time that allowed me to unlock experience on all the lvl 20 chars affected.

I got the bug too and I can confirm this. All my toons with exp off are bugged, but the 20 characters I never turned exp off I can still queue for bgs. I have a pending ticket sent.
 
Yeah this is a bug that is solved by turning xp on just before your sub runs out.
